Brennan Labbe- #14
Brennan Labbe is in his second year with the Mavericks. The 5-foot 10-inch senior will attend Centralia College on a baseball scholarship following his senior season, as an outfielder and left-hand pitching recruit. Labbe has played on both the Mavericks “B” and “AA” teams through his two years with the program. Labbe, born and raised in Missoula, also played for the Missoula Mud Dawgs program for five years, and Mount Sentinel Little League for five years, with a year on the all star team. In his senior season, he has racked up over 175 plate appearances and an average over .280 with over 30 walks and an OBP just shy of .500. He has pitched nearly 50 innings with a WHIP of 1.665 and over 30 strikeouts, while recording over 120 outs. In the outfield and on the mound he has recorded over 5o putouts and eight assists.
His favorite memory is the Rapid City tournament over the 4th of July, and the firework game playing in front of thousands of fans. Labbe plans to study sports-medicine in college while continuing his baseball career. He would like to thank his family for their support throughout his journey playing baseball, his coaches with the Mavs for believing in him and offering advice and wisdom, and Charlie Palmer for his time volunteering to the program and helping him get stronger in the mental aspect of the game.
