2017 Fall Sports Season Tee’s Off
- Updated: August 15, 2017

With the close of the 2017 Legion Baseball season coming to a heart breaking end for Missoula’s hidden gem the Missoula Mavericks, we usher in the 2017 high school sports season.
Fall sports started as of Monday with the annual prep golf opener, the Great Falls Invitational. The three Missoula Class AA schools, Big Sky, Hellgate, and Sentinel boys and girls golf programs made their way to the way to Great Falls early Monday morning for the two day event. Both Big Sky and Hellgate return young teams that look to build on their growth in the 2016 season. The Sentinel Spartans have a veteran group on both the boys and girls sides of the tee that look to set the bar high.
The Missoula Schools will host the Missoula Invite next Monday at the Missoula Country Club, and Canyon River on Tuesday. The remaining fall prep sports, Football, Volleyball, Boys and Girls Soccer, and Cross Country will get underway next week with school starting the following week.
