Loyola         1-1
Sentinel       0-2
Hellgate      0-2

Missoula would be a hot bed of high school football Friday night under the lights and two Missoula teams would come a with a win.

The Big Sky Eagles would end with the best record in Missoula at 2-0 with a last second touchdown win over the Sentinel Spartans. Lead by the tenacity of their senior quarterback Levi Janacaro, the Eagles would storm down the field with under 32 seconds left in the game. Janacaro would score the final touchdown to give Big Sky the 44-40 win over the Spartans.

Across town at Rollin Field the Loyola Rams were looking to avoid going 0-2 to start the season after a stampede to the Class B State Championship Game in 2016. The Rams would be up 9-0 at the break, but the third quarter would be rough for the Rams at they would not be able to get into any type of stride due to a case of the cramps by their key players. In the end the Ram defense would hold off the Coyotes to get the 9-0 win over Shelby to move to 1-1.

The Sentinel Spartans would move to 0-2 on the season in a shootout lose to the Big Sky Eagles. Despite putting up 40 points the Spartans would fall to their crosstown rival who scored the go a head touchdown with one second left on the clock.
