Washington did not put a runner on base until the third inning with two outs on the board when Brayden Helgeson knocked a ground ball over second base into center field to reach first, but was held at first due to solid defensive play by Idaho.

Down 10 runs going into the fifth inning Devon Garner of Washington reached on a pass ball giving the Washingtion dug out a glimmer of hope, as he did all game Yancey placed the ball where it would be put in play off a hit and Idaho took the game in the fifth inning on the 10 run rule. Idaho pitcher and second baseman was the tournament MVP off both strong hitting and throwing a complete game from the mound against Washington on Friday night.
