Class B Western Divisional Bracket Finalized

The final spots on the Class B Western Divisional bracket were filled Monday night with the Florence Falcons knocking off Troy and the Mission Lady Bulldogs took down Troy.

Girls
The girls bracket is headlined by the Florence Lady Falcons who have dominated the west so far in the 2018-2019 season. From there it is a boiling pot of teams that all have a chance to join the Lady Falcons at the top. Though Mission was the last team to make the tournament do not count them out as they have started to peak at the end of the season.

Watch out for Loyola, Deer Lodge, and Eureka as they have teams that are capable of making the championship game on Saturday night. Both Bigfork and Anaconda are viable contenders to challenge Florence at the top with experienced coaches that know how to put their teams in the right position to win. Though Florence is the cream of the crop in the western portion of Class B girls basketball, anything can happen at tournament time so do not count anybody out.

Game 1: Eureka vs. Anaconda 8 a.m.
Game 2: Thompson Falls vs. Loyola 9:40 a.m.
Game 3: Florence vs. Mission 4 p.m.
Game 4: Deer Lodge vs. Bigfork 5:40 p.m.

Girls Bracket

BOYS
There is a powder keg waiting to explode in the Class B boys Western Divisional bracket with teams like Loyola and Bigfork at the top, but contenders like Deer Lodge and Anaconda looking to prove it is their time to represent the west at state. Florence slide into the tournament with an amazing win over Troy on Monday night that sent the Ronan event center in to pandemonium.

Leading the way is two veteran teams in the Loyola Rams and the Bigfork Vikings, the Rams fielding a senior group of players who never let in, and Bigfork being one of the strongest teams in all of Class B boys basketball. The boys from Deer Lodge have been a thorn in everyone’s side as they have played a grizzled style of basketball that has taken down the Vikings and challenged the Rams. Though they have a new coach Anaconda is still one of the best teams in west of Class B basketball while Thompson Falls and Mission have a chance to spoil the whole bracket.
