Billings vs MCPS Softball Friday Recap

In the annual Class AA East versus West softball weekend the Friday portion would go in favor of Billings Senior, Skyview and West, all of which picked up wins over Big Sky, Hellgate, and Sentinel.
Big Sky would face the West Golden Bears and West would sweep the Eagles in a commanding fashion with each game only going three innings. West would get a 20-0 win in game one, and a 21-1 win in game two.
Hellgate had the unique chance to play Skyview at the Montana Grizzly softball facility on Friday, but the atmosphere did not help the Knights earn a win. In game one Skyview flew by Hellgate 25-2, but in game two the Knights would keep the game close with Skyview braking the tie in the seventh to win 7-2.
Sentinel was the only Missoula team to etch out a win against the Billings schools. Game one went in favor of the Senior Broncs 6-1, but the Spartans swung back with a 2-1 win in the second game.
