Hellgate Lacrosse Picks Up A Pair Of Wins Against Montana’s Best

Two of the arguably best lacrosse teams in the state of Montana made a trip to Missoula to take on the Hellgate Knights  for a battle between the top three teams in prep lacrosse,

Hellgate opened up their play on Saturday with an early game against Glacier where the Knights where put on their heels to start, but after buckling down the game turned out to be a tight match. The game would be an offensive show with balls flying into the back of the net left and right, but In the end Hellgate would come out victorious over Glacier with an 11-10 win.

Game two was a late afternoon rematch from last seasons championship game where Bozeman out lasted Hellgate to be crowned state champs. Hellgate was not going to give Bozeman a chance on saturday as the Knights came out shooting, dropping three balls behind the keeper in the opening minutes. Bozeman put on a show late to try and get back into the game, but Hellgate slammed the door shut in the fourth as they went on a goal spree to win 13-3 over the reigning state champions.
