Lakers Shut Down Bucs

The Bitterroot Bucs would suffer their first loss of the District Tournament in Belgrade Saturday to the Kalispell Lakers falling 13-12.
The Bucs would take an early lead earning seven runs in the first inning, and then adding three more in the second to taker a 10-0 lead over the Lakers. Kalispell would figure out a pitching match against the Bucs and held Bitterroot scoreless until the seventh while adding five runs in the fifth and two more in the sixth. The Lakers would pour on six more runs in the top of the seventh and took a 13-10 lead. The Bucs would try to rally in the bottom of the seventh, but the six runs earned earlier in the inning by Kalispell was to much to overcome and the the Lakers would get the win.
