A Twins Sunday Doubleheader

The Missoula Mavericks are set to host a doubleheader today against the Glacier Twins after calling off Thursday night’s game with the Mission Valley Mariners. Opening pitch for the first game versus the Twins is scheduled for 1:00 pm today, after seven innings and a grief break game two will get underway.

The weather has played against the Mavericks this year during the week day games with an unusually wet May. In light of the Montana’s spring conditions, the Mavericks have pushed themselves into a 19-9 overall record with a handful games left in the non conference season. With a veteran group playing out their last season, the youngsters are learning to work their way out of tight situations.
