Frenchtown and Loyola Finish Even On The Soccer Field
- Updated: September 12, 2017

In the first game between the boys Frenchtown would get the win with a 3-0 shut out on the Loyola Rams. The Broncs would get on the board at the 10:11 mark in the first half when forward William Kelly put the ball in the back of the net. Brock Diehl would add to the Frenchtown tally when he put the Broncs up 2-0 with 6:34 left in the first half. The two teams would retake the field after the half time break and Frenchtown would get back to work scoring a third goal to cap off the game at 3-0 Frenchtown. The Rams would battle in the Bronc side of the field, but would not be able to get the ball past the Bronc defense. The Rams will host the Corvallis Blue Devils Saturday at 1:00 pm.
The Breakers and the Lady Broncs would play in the sunset game Tuesday night at Rollin Field and Loyola would come away with a 1-0 win. The Breakers would find the back of the net with 14:28 in the first half when Syd Koopang would break away down the right side of the field and found Tessa Burke on the cross with Burke closing the deal. The two teams would battle it out for the remainder of the game, but both sides defense would be unbreakable and the Breakers would get the win. The Breakers will start things off Saturday against the Corvallis Blue Devils with play getting under way at 11:00 am.
