Officials Looking For Soccer Refs

There may be snow on the ground but that does not mean officials, coaches, and athletes are not preparing for the spring and summer seasons.

Montana soccer officials are currently looking for youth soccer referee’s for the up coming season in the Missoula and surrounding areas. One of the officials recruiting this winter Justin Harcrow who had this to say about the up coming season, “We are trying to reach as many people as possible for new refs due to retirements and turnover.”

The number of officials for the majority of Montana’s youth sports has decreased over the recent years and the group is always looking for individuals interested in officiating youth games. In order to be an official one must take the Level 9 or entry level course before the can put on the strips.  Soccer games are mostly played on Saturdays from April through June and all games you officiate are paid.
