• In 1920 American diver Louis Kuehn leads a US medal sweep in the men’s 3m springboard event at the Antwerp Olympics. Teammates Clarence Pinkston & Louis Balbach take the minor medals

Tennis

• In 1894 US National Championship Men’s Tennis, defending champion Robert Wrenn beats Irishman Manliff Goodbody 6-8, 6-1, 6-4, 6-4
