11 Inning Tight Rope

The Missoula Mavericks American Legion baseball team would leave Great Falls 0-2 after a Thursday 11 inning lose.
Thursday’s game had the Mavericks looking to get even while they where in Great Falls after a lose to the Chargers on Wednesday. The game would stay tight through the stretch with the Chargers earning a run in the first and fifth innings to take a 2-0 lead. Missoula would get on the board in the seventh with a run, and then sent the game in to extra innings with a run in the ninth. The two teams would battle at the plate for an extra two innings before the Chargers would cap the game off with a run.
The Mavericks will hop on the bus and head to Lethbridge to play their final two games of the season Friday and Saturday.
