Hellgate 20 – Helena 42

To open the season Hellgate has been playing their best football in over two decades with a 3-0 start. A trip to Helena wold put the first check in the loss column to a Helena team that is finding momentum as we approach the mid point of the season. The Bengals came out on fire in the first half to lead 28-7 at the half, giving Helena a cushion for the remainder of the game to seal a victory.

Glacier 63 – Big Sky 35

A pair of teams that have faced adversity in the opening weeks of the season squared off at MCPS Stadium, the Glacier Wolfpack rolled into town and took on the Big Sky Eagles. In front of their homecoming crowd the Eagles would fire up the fans with a pair of defensive touchdowns. Fast forward to the second half where the Wolfpack made their adjustments at the break and steam rolled their way past the Eagles.

Bigfork 11 – Loyola 21

At the second homecoming game on the night in Missoula the Loyola Rams played host to the Bigfork Vikings in front of a packed house. Despite both teams having talented offences it would be a defensive brawl with the Vikings leading the Rams 3-0 at the half. Both coaches made their adjustments, but it would be Loyola who’s changes took effect to give the Ram fans a homecoming win.
