The second of the crosstown doubleheaders this week is a heated battle between the Hellgate Knights and the Sentinel Spartans in the Spartans liar on Saturday night. For the Sentinel boys it is an opportunity to knock the Knights off their top spot in the Western conference of Class AA basketball, while Hellgate will work to strengthen their grip on the West and stand taller at the top Class AA boys basketball. When your as good as the Lady Spartans have been the past decade a target is always on your back and this season it is no different with the Lady Knights playing inspiring basketball so far.

Florence @ Loyola
Saturday
3:00 pm       Girls
4:30 pm       Boys

When you think of Class B sports there is no better relationship between two schools like the one Loyola has with Florence as the two teams push each other to the line in every sport, but are brothers and sister once the horn blows. The Breakers are playing top notch basketball so far this season but look to make a statement with a win over Florence on Saturday afternoon to make it even on the season against the Lady Falcons. For the Florence boys it has been a season of searching as they have yet to find their grove while they come into a hostel environment to take on a trending Rams team.

Seeley @ Valley Christian
Saturday

6:00 pm       Boys

In the Class C conference rival doubleheader game this week it is a game of opposites between two schools that share an understanding of community. With a youthful group on the floor the Lady Eagles are coming together as a team each game they play, strengthening their ability to put together a complete game from whistle to whistle. The Valley Christian boys have the tools to be competitive with a senior leader in Casey Reimer who can guide them through the 2018-2019 season.
