Monarchs Get Even

The Medicine Hat Moose Monarchs American Legion baseball team would beat the Missoula Mavericks 6-4, heading back to Alberta 1-1 after a two game stand in Missoula.
As in the Saturday night game, the Monarchs would get on the board first with a in the second, but the Mavericks would even it up earning a run in the same inning. Medicine Hat would a pair of runs to their cause in the third, and three more in the fourth to take a 6-1 lead over the Mavericks. Missoula would add three runs in the bottom of the fifth to pull within two runs. The Mavericks would not be able earn runs in the four innings and the Monarchs would get the win.
Missoula will have their final two home games of the season Monday night as they host the Butte Miners in a doubleheader, first pitch is scheduled for 5:00 pm.
