Thursday morning Sentinel Athletic Director Dane Oliver announced that Kasey Arceniega has been named the Sentinel Spartan new head volleyball coach.
Arceniega spent the 2019 volleyball season as an assistant coach at Sentinel High School. Prior to the 2019 volleyball season Arceniega was the head volleyball coach at Corvallis High School for the previous 10 years.
Arceniega, a Corvallis grad herself and former Montana Western volleyball player, led the Blue Devils to the State A title in 2013 with a 21-0 record. Corvallis took second place in 2015 and finished third in 2017 and 2018. The Blue Devils made the state tournament each of the past eight seasons with Arceniega at the helm and were a No. 1 seed six times.
