Prep Weekly Spotlight 4/24

In this weeks Prep Weekly Spotlight we take a look at the up coming two day event in the Missoula Tennis Invitational which will feature all three Missoula County Public High School’s tennis teams.

Though the Missoula schools got off to a late start to the season due to court conditions from the lingering winter. It has been the Sentinel Spartans that has emerged as the top Missoula team of the three schools with the boys sweeping the first crosstown games, and the girls taking one against Big Sky, and tying Hellgate.

This years Missoula Tennis Invitational will be played at the Playfair Park, Fort Missoula, and the U of M courts with all three Missoula schools hosting matches. The Invite is billed as East vs West teams with matches getting started at 9:00 am Friday, and Saturday’s at will begin 7:30 am.

The Missoula Tennis Invitational will give the Big Sky, Hellgate, and Sentinel boys and girls tennis teams an opportunity to compete in tournament play before the Class AA Divisional Tournament in here Missoula May 9th and 10th.
