In a non conference Class B Divisional boys basketball game the Loyola Rams played host to the Thompson Falls Blue Hawks in game that allowed the Ram bench to see quality playing time in 72-23 route of the Blue Hawks.
Right out of the gate the Rams looked to control the game as they went on a 17-0 run in the opening 4:15 of the first quarter. From there it was all Loyola on both ends of the court, with three players getting four points in the paint in the opening quarter. Controlling the pace of the game and holding a big lead Rams head coach Eddie Stack rotated his bench into the game, and in the end the bench would end up playing the more minutes then the starters.
With a commanding 41-15 lead to start the third quarter and the ball Loyola cranked the pace of the game back up which allowed Jack Lincoln to take off to score six points on the fast break in the opening minutes of the second half. Once again coach Stack went to the bench who came in and kept the pedal to the floor by keeping the Blue Hawks to single digits in the second half, holding Thompson Falls to only two points in the final frame.
